Governance

Our policy Board of Directors governs RCITO. Board members come from varied backgrounds and have a range of business, industry and training expertise. They contribute to the organization’s success by developing and overseeing the Industry Training Organization and supervising its management by setting standards and monitoring performance.

Specifically, our board:

  • Develops the Industry Training Organization’s vision and strategic direction;
  • Reviews and approves material policies and standards;
  • Reviews and approves proposed programs for the Industry Training Authority;
  • Approves and implements programs; and,
  • Assesses and approves strategic options for major organizational issues.
