What does this program give me?

The Building Envelope Technician Program gives you the skills, training and knowledge you need to safely install, seal, repair, replace and remove all kinds of external walls in residential homes, including: wall and foundation interfaces, wall and ceiling interfaces, and openings for windows, doors, plumbing, heat and electrical systems.

Certification puts you at the top of your trade and gives you a valuable credential that is recognized and respected by employers across the province. It also increases your ability to market yourself, and gives you greater employment opportunities and higher earning potential.

How long is this apprenticeship?

The Building Envelope Technician program involves 14 weeks of technical training and requires 760 work-based hours.
